Product Overview
Clone 25T09 is a rabbit monoclonal antibody that recognizes tissue factor pathway inhibitor (gene TFPI) in human samples and is validated for Western blot. The predicted molecular weight is 35.0 kDa, and the supplier reports an observed band at about 35–45 kDa.
Tissue factor pathway inhibitor (TFPI) is a Kunitz-type protease inhibitor that controls the start of blood coagulation. It first binds and inhibits factor Xa and then blocks the tissue factor–factor VIIa complex, and it is studied in hemostasis, thrombosis and hemophilia research.

Synthetic peptide based on the sequence of human TFPI.
Reactivity Notes
The supplier lists reactivity with human. Tissue expression noted by UniProt (human): Mostly in endothelial cells. The samples tested by the supplier (listed above) are a practical starting point for positive controls.
