Product Overview
This rabbit polyclonal antibody recognizes transforming growth factor beta receptor type 3 (gene TGFBR3) in human and rat samples and is validated for Western blot. The predicted molecular weight is 93.5 kDa, and the supplier reports an observed band at about 93 kDa.
TGF-β receptor type 3 (TGFBR3, also called betaglycan) is a proteoglycan co-receptor with no kinase activity. It binds TGF-β isoforms, inhibin and some BMPs and presents them to signaling receptors, notably enhancing TGF-β2 signaling, and it is studied in development and cancer.

Samples with a confirmed band (WB): human K562 cells, human HeLa cells, rat testis tissue, rat L6 cells.
Recommended loading (WB): 20–40 µg of total protein per lane.
Conditions in the example images (WB): 5–20% gradient SDS-PAGE under reducing conditions, 30 µg lysate per lane, transfer to nitrocellulose membrane, blocking in 5% non-fat milk, primary antibody at 0.25 µg/mL overnight at 4 °C, HRP-conjugated secondary antibody at 1:5000, ECL detection.
