Product Overview
This rabbit polyclonal antibody targets tRNA (gene THUMPD3) in human samples and is validated for Western blot, flow cytometry and ELISA. The predicted molecular weight is 57.0 kDa, and the supplier reports an observed band at about 68 kDa.
THUMPD3 is a tRNA methyltransferase that pairs with the partner protein TRM112 to form an active enzyme complex. Using S-adenosyl-L-methionine, it adds a methyl group to the N2 position of guanosine at position 6 of many tRNAs. It is studied in tRNA modification and the regulation of protein translation.

Samples with a confirmed band (WB): human HeLa cells, human 293T cells, human Jurkat cells.
Recommended loading (WB): 20–40 µg of total protein per lane.
Conditions in the example images (WB): 5–20% gradient SDS-PAGE under reducing conditions, 30 µg lysate per lane, transfer to nitrocellulose membrane, blocking in 5% non-fat milk, primary antibody at 0.5 µg/mL overnight at 4 °C, HRP-conjugated secondary antibody at 1:5000, ECL detection.
Samples with a confirmed signal (flow cytometry): PC-3 cells.

Recombinant human THUMPD3 fragment (Met1–Asp496), expressed in E. coli.
Reactivity Notes
The supplier lists reactivity with human. UniProt places tRNA in the cytoplasm. The samples tested by the supplier (listed above) are a practical starting point for positive controls.
