Product Overview
Clone AFEA-20 is a rabbit monoclonal antibody that recognizes transducin-like enhancer protein 1 (gene TLE1) in human, mouse and rat samples and is validated for Western blot, IHC and ICC/IF. The predicted molecular weight is 83.2 kDa, and the supplier reports an observed band at about 83 kDa.
TLE1 is a Groucho/TLE family transcriptional corepressor that has no DNA-binding activity of its own. It is recruited by many transcription factors, including TCF/LEF proteins in Wnt signaling and HES proteins in Notch signaling, and represses target genes partly by engaging histone deacetylases. TLE1 is studied in development, hematopoiesis and cancer, and is a marker used in synovial sarcoma research.
