Product Overview
Clone ABOO-20 is a rabbit monoclonal antibody that recognizes toll-like receptor 7 (gene TLR7) in human samples and is validated for Western blot and IHC. The predicted molecular weight is 120.9 kDa, and the supplier reports an observed band at about 140 kDa.
Toll-like receptor 7 (TLR7) is an endosomal pattern recognition receptor that senses single-stranded RNA, especially from viruses, as well as synthetic imidazoquinolines such as imiquimod. It signals through MyD88 to activate IRF7 and NF-κB, driving strong type I interferon production in plasmacytoid dendritic cells. TLR7 is studied in antiviral immunity and systemic lupus erythematosus.

Reactivity Notes
The supplier lists reactivity with human. UniProt places toll-like receptor 7 in the endoplasmic reticulum membrane, endosome, lysosome and cytoplasmic vesicle. Tissue expression noted by UniProt (human): Detected in brain, placenta, spleen, stomach, small intestine, lung and in plasmacytoid pre-dendritic cells. The samples tested by the supplier (listed above) are a practical starting point for positive controls.
