Product Overview
Clone 24T45 is a rabbit monoclonal antibody that recognizes tomoregulin-2 (gene TMEFF2) in human samples and is validated for Western blot, IHC, ICC/IF and flow cytometry. The predicted molecular weight is 41.4 kDa, and the supplier reports an observed band at about 41 kDa.
Tomoregulin-2 (TMEFF2) is a transmembrane protein with EGF-like and follistatin-like domains, expressed mainly in brain and prostate. It has been proposed to act as a survival factor for certain neurons, and its shed ectodomain can promote cancer cell growth. TMEFF2 is studied in prostate cancer and neurobiology.
