Product Overview
This rabbit polyclonal antibody recognizes transmembrane protein 50B (gene TMEM50B) in human, mouse and rat samples and is validated for Western blot, ICC/IF and flow cytometry. The predicted molecular weight is 17.9 kDa, and the supplier reports an observed band at about 23 kDa.
TMEM50B is a multi-pass membrane protein of the TMEM50 family. Its biological function has not been fully characterized.

Samples with a confirmed band (WB): human T47D cells, human HEL cells, human THP-1 cells, rat testis tissue, rat lung tissue, mouse testis tissue, mouse lung tissue.
Recommended loading (WB): 20–40 µg of total protein per lane.
Conditions in the example images (WB): 5–20% gradient SDS-PAGE under reducing conditions, 30 µg lysate per lane, transfer to nitrocellulose membrane, blocking in 5% non-fat milk, primary antibody at 0.25 µg/mL overnight at 4 °C, HRP-conjugated secondary antibody at 1:5000, ECL detection.
Samples with confirmed staining (ICC/IF): MCF-7 cells.
Samples with a confirmed signal (flow cytometry): U87 cells.

Synthetic peptide from the N-terminal region of human TMEM50B. The peptide sequence is conserved in mouse and rat.
Reactivity Notes
The supplier lists reactivity with human, mouse and rat. UniProt places transmembrane protein 50B in the endoplasmic reticulum membrane and Golgi apparatus membrane. The samples tested by the supplier (listed above) are a practical starting point for positive controls.
