Product Overview
Clone 30T22 is a rabbit monoclonal antibody that recognizes tumor necrosis factor alpha-induced protein 8 (gene TNFAIP8) in human samples and is validated for Western blot. The predicted molecular weight is 23.0 kDa; the supplier reports observed bands at 18, 21 kDa.
TNFAIP8 is a member of the TIPE family, induced by TNF-α and NF-κB signaling. It acts as an inhibitor of apoptosis, in part by blocking caspase-8 activity downstream of death receptors. TNFAIP8 is studied in cancer cell survival and inflammation.
