Product Overview
This rabbit polyclonal antibody targets trinucleotide repeat-containing gene 6C protein (gene TNRC6C) in human samples and is validated for Western blot, ICC/IF, flow cytometry and ELISA.
TNRC6C is one of the GW182 family scaffold proteins that act with argonaute proteins in microRNA-mediated gene silencing. After an argonaute–miRNA complex binds a target mRNA, TNRC6C recruits the CCR4-NOT and PAN2-PAN3 deadenylase complexes, leading to translational repression and mRNA decay. It is studied in post-transcriptional gene regulation.
