Product Overview
This rabbit polyclonal antibody recognizes tensin-3 (gene TNS3) in human samples and is validated for Western blot, IHC, ICC/IF, flow cytometry, immunoprecipitation and ELISA.
Tensin-3 (TNS3) is a focal adhesion protein that links integrin β1 to the actin cytoskeleton. It is found in fibrillar adhesions, regulates Rho family GTPase activity and cell migration, and is displaced by tensin-4 after EGF stimulation. Tensin-3 is studied in cell adhesion, osteoclast podosome organization and cancer cell motility.

Recombinant human TNS3 fragment (Gln592–Glu869), expressed in E. coli. Sequence identity with the mouse ortholog: 69.2%.
Reactivity Notes
The supplier lists reactivity with human. UniProt places tensin-3 in the cell junction and cell projection. Tissue expression noted by UniProt (human): Expressed in umbilical vein endothelial cells, epithelial cells, and fibroblasts cells (at protein level).
