Product Overview
This rabbit polyclonal antibody recognizes target of Myb1 membrane trafficking protein (gene TOM1) in human samples and is validated for Western blot, IHC, ICC/IF, immunoprecipitation, flow cytometry and ELISA.
TOM1 (target of Myb1) is an adaptor that sorts ubiquitinated membrane proteins in the endosomal pathway. It contains a VHS and a GAT domain, recruits myosin VI to endocytic structures, and supports autophagosome maturation and fusion with lysosomes. TOM1 is studied in membrane trafficking, autophagy and receptor recycling.

Recombinant human TOM1 fragment (Arg84–Lys480), expressed in E. coli. Sequence identity with the mouse ortholog: 87.4%.
Reactivity Notes
The supplier lists reactivity with human. UniProt places target of Myb1 membrane trafficking protein in the cytoplasm, endosome membrane and early endosome membrane. Tissue expression noted by UniProt (human): Widely expressed.
