Product Overview
This rabbit polyclonal antibody recognizes TNF receptor-associated factor 3 (gene TRAF3) in human, mouse and rat samples and is validated for ELISA and Western blot. The predicted molecular weight is 64.5 kDa; the supplier reports observed bands at 60 kDa, 64 kDa.
TRAF3 is a cytoplasmic E3 ubiquitin ligase and adaptor that shapes NF-κB, MAPK and IRF signaling. In Toll-like and RIG-I-like receptor pathways it promotes type I interferon production, whereas in resting B cells it keeps the non-canonical NF-κB pathway off by promoting NIK degradation. TRAF3 is studied in antiviral immunity, B-cell biology and lymphoid cancers.

Validated Applications
| Western blot | 0.1–0.5 µg/mL |
|---|---|
| ELISA | 0.1–0.5 µg/mL |
Samples with a confirmed band (WB): human K562 cells, rat brain tissue, rat PC-12 cells, mouse brain tissue, mouse HEPA1–6 cells.
Recommended loading (WB): 20–40 µg of total protein per lane.
Conditions in the example images (WB): 5–20% gradient SDS-PAGE under reducing conditions, 50 µg lysate per lane, transfer to nitrocellulose membrane, blocking in 5% non-fat milk, primary antibody at 0.5 µg/mL overnight at 4 °C, HRP-conjugated secondary antibody at 1:10000, ECL detection.
Immunogen
Recombinant human TRAF3 fragment (Phe298–Gln551), expressed in E. coli.
Reactivity Notes
The supplier lists reactivity with human, mouse and rat. UniProt places TNF receptor-associated factor 3 in the cytoplasm, endosome and mitochondrion. The samples tested by the supplier (listed above) are a practical starting point for positive controls.
