Product Overview
Clone AEEI-20 is a rabbit monoclonal antibody that recognizes RISC-loading complex subunit TARBP2 in human, mouse and rat samples and is validated for Western blot, IHC, ICC/IF, immunoprecipitation and flow cytometry. The predicted molecular weight is 39.0 kDa, and the supplier reports an observed band at about 39 kDa.
TRBP (TARBP2) is a double-stranded RNA-binding protein that partners with Dicer and Argonaute-2 in the RISC-loading complex. It helps process precursor microRNAs and load them onto Argonaute, and it was first identified as a protein binding the HIV-1 TAR RNA element, so it is studied in RNA silencing and virus–host interaction.

Immunogen
Synthetic peptide based on the sequence of human TRBP.
Reactivity Notes
The supplier lists reactivity with human, mouse and rat. UniProt places RISC-loading complex subunit TARBP2 in the cytoplasm and nucleus. The samples tested by the supplier (listed above) are a practical starting point for positive controls.
