Product Overview
Clone 19T02 is a rabbit monoclonal antibody that recognizes three-prime repair exonuclease 1 (gene TREX1) in human samples and is validated for Western blot, IHC and ICC/IF. The predicted molecular weight is 33.2 kDa, and the supplier reports an observed band at about 33 kDa.
TREX1 is the main 3′-to-5′ DNA exonuclease in the cytoplasm of mammalian cells. By degrading DNA from retroelements, micronuclei and other sources, it prevents inappropriate activation of the cGAS–STING pathway and type I interferon production. TREX1 mutations cause Aicardi-Goutières syndrome and are linked to lupus, so it is central to nucleic acid sensing research.

The supplier lists reactivity with human. UniProt places three-prime repair exonuclease 1 in the nucleus, cytoplasm and endoplasmic reticulum membrane.
