Product Overview
This rabbit polyclonal antibody targets TLR4 interactor with leucine rich repeats (gene TRIL) in human, mouse and rat samples and is validated for Western blot and ELISA. The predicted molecular weight is 88.7 kDa, and the supplier reports an observed band at about 89 kDa.
TRIL (TLR4 interactor with leucine-rich repeats) is a transmembrane protein that associates with the TLR4 receptor complex. It helps mediate innate immune responses to bacterial lipopolysaccharide, contributing to cytokine release, and is expressed notably in the brain, where it is studied in neuroinflammation.

Validated Applications
| Western blot | 0.25–0.5 µg/mL (Mouse, Rat) |
|---|---|
| ELISA | 0.1–0.5 µg/mL |
Samples with a confirmed band (WB): rat brain tissue, mouse brain tissue.
Recommended loading (WB): 20–40 µg of total protein per lane.
Conditions in the example images (WB): 5–20% gradient SDS-PAGE under reducing conditions, 30 µg lysate per lane, transfer to nitrocellulose membrane, blocking in 5% non-fat milk, primary antibody at 0.5 µg/mL overnight at 4 °C, HRP-conjugated secondary antibody at 1:5000, ECL detection.
Immunogen
Recombinant human TRIL fragment (Val26–Gln696), expressed in E. coli.
Reactivity Notes
The supplier lists reactivity with human, mouse and rat. UniProt places TLR4 interactor with leucine rich repeats in the membrane. Tissue expression noted by UniProt (human): Highly expressed in the brain, ovary, small intestine and spleen. The samples tested by the supplier (listed above) are a practical starting point for positive controls.
