Product Overview
Clone 29T46 is a rabbit monoclonal antibody that recognizes transcription intermediary factor 1-alpha (gene TRIM24) in human samples and is validated for Western blot, IHC and ICC/IF. The predicted molecular weight is 116.8 kDa, and the supplier reports an observed band at about 130 kDa.
TRIM24 (TIF1α) is a transcriptional coregulator of the TIF1 family that binds nuclear receptors, including the estrogen, androgen and retinoic acid receptors. Its PHD–bromodomain reads specific histone H3 modification states, and it also has E3 ubiquitin ligase activity toward p53. TRIM24 is studied in hormone-dependent cancers and chromatin regulation.
