Product Overview
This rabbit polyclonal antibody targets tripartite motif-containing protein 29 (gene TRIM29) in human samples and is validated for Western blot, flow cytometry and ELISA. The predicted molecular weight is 65.8 kDa, and the supplier reports an observed band at about 70 kDa.
TRIM29 (ATDC) is a tripartite motif protein expressed in epithelial and immune cells. In alveolar macrophages and other cells, it limits innate immune responses by promoting degradation of the NF-κB regulator NEMO and of STING, dampening interferon and inflammatory cytokine production. TRIM29 is studied in respiratory infection and squamous carcinomas.

Validated Applications
| Western blot | 0.25–0.5 µg/mL (Human) |
|---|---|
| Flow cytometry (fixed cells) | 1–3 µg/1×106 cells (Human) |
| ELISA | 0.1–0.5 µg/mL |
Samples with a confirmed band (WB): human RT4 cells, human Hacat cells, human SIHA cells, human A431 cells.
Recommended loading (WB): 20–40 µg of total protein per lane.
Conditions in the example images (WB): 5–20% gradient SDS-PAGE under reducing conditions, 30 µg lysate per lane, transfer to nitrocellulose membrane, blocking in 5% non-fat milk, primary antibody at 0.5 µg/mL overnight at 4 °C, HRP-conjugated secondary antibody at 1:5000, ECL detection.
Samples with a confirmed signal (flow cytometry): RT4 cells.
Immunogen
Recombinant human TRIM29 fragment (Glu169–Arg549), expressed in E. coli.
Reactivity Notes
The supplier lists reactivity with human. UniProt places tripartite motif-containing protein 29 in the cytoplasm and lysosome. Tissue expression noted by UniProt (human): Expressed in placenta, prostate and thymus. The samples tested by the supplier (listed above) are a practical starting point for positive controls.
