Product Overview
This rabbit polyclonal antibody recognizes E3 ubiquitin-protein ligase TRAIP in human, mouse and rat samples and is validated for Western blot, ICC/IF, flow cytometry and ELISA. The predicted molecular weight is 53.3 kDa, and the supplier reports an observed band at about 53 kDa.
TRAIP is a RING-type E3 ubiquitin ligase that protects genome stability during DNA replication. It ubiquitinates the CMG replicative helicase to remove it from chromatin, helps process forks that meet interstrand cross-links, and supports repair under replication stress. TRAIP mutations cause primordial dwarfism, and it is studied in DNA replication and repair.

Validated Applications
| Western blot | 0.25–0.5 µg/mL (Human, Mouse, Rat) |
|---|---|
| Immunocytochemistry / Immunofluorescence | 5 µg/mL (Human) |
| Flow cytometry (fixed cells) | 1–3 µg/1×106 cells (Human) |
| ELISA | 0.1–0.5 µg/mL |
Samples with a confirmed band (WB): human Daudi cells, human U251 cells, rat brain tissue, mouse brain tissue.
Recommended loading (WB): 20–40 µg of total protein per lane.
Conditions in the example images (WB): 5–20% gradient SDS-PAGE under reducing conditions, 30 µg lysate per lane, transfer to nitrocellulose membrane, blocking in 5% non-fat milk, primary antibody at 0.25 µg/mL overnight at 4 °C, HRP-conjugated secondary antibody at 1:5000, ECL detection.
Samples with confirmed staining (ICC/IF): HeLa cells.
Samples with a confirmed signal (flow cytometry): SiHa cells.
Immunogen
Recombinant human TRIP/TRAIP fragment (Met1–Ser469), expressed in E. coli.
Reactivity Notes
The supplier lists reactivity with human, mouse and rat. UniProt places E3 ubiquitin-protein ligase TRAIP in the nucleus, chromosome and cytoplasm. The samples tested by the supplier (listed above) are a practical starting point for positive controls.
