Product Overview
This rabbit polyclonal antibody recognizes tRNA methyltransferase 10 homolog C (gene TRMT10C) in human samples and is validated for Western blot, IHC, ICC/IF, flow cytometry and ELISA. The predicted molecular weight is 47.3 kDa, and the supplier reports an observed band at about 40–45 kDa.
TRMT10C (MRPP1) is a mitochondrial tRNA methyltransferase and a subunit of mitochondrial RNase P, together with HSD17B10 (MRPP2) and PRORP (MRPP3). With MRPP2 it methylates position 9 of mitochondrial tRNAs and acts as a maturation platform that helps pass processed tRNAs to ELAC2 and TRNT1, making it central to mitochondrial tRNA processing and translation.
