Product Overview
Clone ADGD-20 is a rabbit monoclonal antibody that recognizes transient receptor potential cation channel subfamily M member 7 (gene TRPM7) in human, mouse and rat samples and is validated for Western blot, ICC/IF and flow cytometry. The predicted molecular weight is 212.7 kDa, and the supplier reports an observed band at about 213 kDa.
TRPM7 is an unusual protein that combines a divalent cation channel with its own C-terminal α-kinase domain. The channel conducts magnesium, calcium and zinc and is important for cellular magnesium and zinc balance, while the kinase can phosphorylate proteins such as annexin A1 and myosin II. It is studied in development, immune function, cell migration and proliferation.

Reactivity Notes
The supplier lists reactivity with human, mouse and rat. UniProt places transient receptor potential cation channel subfamily M member 7 in the cell membrane and cytoplasmic vesicle membrane. The samples tested by the supplier (listed above) are a practical starting point for positive controls.
