Product Overview
This rabbit polyclonal antibody targets tetratricopeptide repeat protein 7B (gene TTC7B) in human, mouse and rat samples and is validated for Western blot, IHC, ICC/IF, flow cytometry and ELISA. The predicted molecular weight is 94.2 kDa, and the supplier reports an observed band at about 94 kDa.
TTC7B is a tetratricopeptide repeat protein that forms a complex with EFR3 and the phosphatidylinositol 4-kinase PI4KA. By bridging PI4KA to EFR3 at the plasma membrane, it supports production of phosphatidylinositol 4-phosphate, a lipid important for membrane identity and signaling.

Samples with a confirmed band (WB): human HEL cells, rat brain tissue, mouse brain tissue.
Recommended loading (WB): 20–40 µg of total protein per lane.
Conditions in the example images (WB): 5–20% gradient SDS-PAGE under reducing conditions, 30 µg lysate per lane, transfer to nitrocellulose membrane, blocking in 5% non-fat milk, primary antibody at 0.5 µg/mL overnight at 4 °C, HRP-conjugated secondary antibody at 1:5000, ECL detection.
Samples with confirmed staining (IHC): human colorectal adenocarcinoma tissue, human laryngeal squamous cells carcinoma tissue, human liver cancer tissue, human breast cancer tissue, human lung cancer tissue, human ovarian cancer tissue, rat brain tissue.
Recommended antigen retrieval: heat-mediated, in TE buffer (pH 9.0); citrate buffer (pH 6.0) can be used instead.
Conditions in the example images (IHC): heat-mediated antigen retrieval in EDTA buffer (pH 8.0).
Samples with confirmed staining (ICC/IF): human ovarian cancer tissue.
Samples with a confirmed signal (flow cytometry): HepG2 cells.
Immunogen
Recombinant human TTC7B fragment (Glu275–His730), expressed in E. coli.
Reactivity Notes
The supplier lists reactivity with human, mouse and rat. UniProt places tetratricopeptide repeat protein 7B in the cytoplasm and cell membrane. The samples tested by the supplier (listed above) are a practical starting point for positive controls.
