Product Overview
This rabbit polyclonal antibody recognizes tubulin monoglycylase TTLL3 in human samples and is validated for Western blot and ELISA. The predicted molecular weight is 87.4 kDa, and the supplier reports an observed band at about 87 kDa.
TTLL3 is a tubulin glycylase that adds single glycines to glutamate residues in the C-terminal tails of α- and β-tubulin. Glycylation competes with polyglutamylation at the same sites and is important for the stability of cilia and flagella, including in the intestine and in sperm.

Samples with a confirmed band (WB): human 293T cells, human HeLa cells, human Jurkat cells.
Recommended loading (WB): 20–40 µg of total protein per lane.
Conditions in the example images (WB): 5–20% gradient SDS-PAGE under reducing conditions, 30 µg lysate per lane, transfer to nitrocellulose membrane, blocking in 5% non-fat milk, primary antibody at 0.5 µg/mL overnight at 4 °C, HRP-conjugated secondary antibody at 1:5000, ECL detection.

Recombinant human TTLL3 fragment (Glu144–Arg762), expressed in E. coli.
Reactivity Notes
The supplier lists reactivity with human. UniProt places tubulin monoglycylase TTLL3 in the cytoplasm and cell projection. Tissue expression noted by UniProt (human): Expressed in brain, heart, kidney, testis, liver, lung, muscle, spleen, trachea and colon. The samples tested by the supplier (listed above) are a practical starting point for positive controls.
