Product Overview
This rabbit polyclonal antibody targets tubby-related protein 3 (gene TULP3) in human and mouse samples and is validated for Western blot, ICC/IF, flow cytometry and ELISA. The predicted molecular weight is 49.6 kDa, and the supplier reports an observed band at about 60 kDa.
TULP3 is a tubby-like protein that links the intraflagellar transport complex A (IFT-A) to membrane proteins, bringing certain G protein-coupled receptors such as GPR161 into primary cilia. By doing so it negatively regulates Hedgehog signaling, and it is studied in ciliary trafficking, development and kidney disease.

Samples with a confirmed band (WB): human SH-SY5Y cells, human 293T cells, human SiHa cells, human U251 cells, mouse lung tissue.
Recommended loading (WB): 20–40 µg of total protein per lane.
Conditions in the example images (WB): 10% SDS-PAGE under reducing conditions, 30 µg lysate per lane, transfer to nitrocellulose membrane, blocking in 5% non-fat milk, primary antibody at 0.5 µg/mL overnight at 4 °C, HRP-conjugated secondary antibody at 1:5000, ECL detection.
Samples with confirmed staining (ICC/IF): U2OS cells.
Samples with a confirmed signal (flow cytometry): SiHa cells.

Recombinant human TULP3 fragment (Pro62–His362), expressed in E. coli.
Reactivity Notes
The supplier lists reactivity with human and mouse. UniProt places tubby-related protein 3 in the cell projection, cell membrane, nucleus and cytoplasm. Tissue expression noted by UniProt (human): Expressed at high levels in testis, ovaries, thyroid, and spinal cord. The samples tested by the supplier (listed above) are a practical starting point for positive controls.
