Product Overview
This rabbit polyclonal antibody detects sodium/glucose cotransporter 2 (gene SLC5A2) in Turquoise killifish samples.
SGLT2 (SLC5A2) is a sodium-coupled glucose transporter in the early proximal tubule of the kidney, where it reclaims most filtered glucose. It needs the partner protein MAP17 for full activity and is the target of the SGLT2 inhibitor class of drugs, so it is widely studied in diabetes and renal physiology.

Reactivity Notes
The supplier lists reactivity with Turquoise killifish. UniProt places sodium/glucose cotransporter 2 in the apical cell membrane.
