DDX39B (also called UAP56) is a DEAD-box RNA helicase that is part of the TREX complex. It helps couple mRNA splicing and processing with export from the nucleus, and it also contributes to spliceosome assembly. DDX39B is studied in mRNA export, gene expression and immune regulation.
