Product Overview
This rabbit polyclonal antibody targets ubiquitin-associated protein 2-like (gene UBAP2L) in human samples and is validated for Western blot, ICC/IF, flow cytometry and ELISA. The predicted molecular weight is 114.5 kDa, and the supplier reports an observed band at about 150 kDa.
UBAP2L is an RNA-binding protein with a ubiquitin-associated domain that is an important regulator of stress granule assembly. It has also been implicated in the removal of RNA polymerase II stalled at DNA damage, in hematopoietic stem cell activity and in brain development.

Samples with a confirmed band (WB): human Jurkat cells, human K562 cells, human PC-3 cells, human HeLa cells.
Recommended loading (WB): 20–40 µg of total protein per lane.
Conditions in the example images (WB): 5–20% gradient SDS-PAGE under reducing conditions, 30 µg lysate per lane, transfer to nitrocellulose membrane, blocking in 5% non-fat milk, primary antibody at 0.25 µg/mL overnight at 4 °C, HRP-conjugated secondary antibody at 1:5000, ECL detection.
Samples with confirmed staining (ICC/IF): T-47D cells.
Samples with a confirmed signal (flow cytometry): THP-1 cells.

Recombinant human UBAP2L fragment (Ala271–Ser439), expressed in E. coli.
Reactivity Notes
The supplier lists reactivity with human. UniProt places ubiquitin-associated protein 2-like in the nucleus, chromosome and cytoplasm. Tissue expression noted by UniProt (human): Ubiquitous. The samples tested by the supplier (listed above) are a practical starting point for positive controls.
