Product Overview
Clone 26U69 is a rabbit monoclonal antibody that recognizes ubiquitin-conjugating enzyme E2 B (gene UBE2B) in human samples and is validated for Western blot, IHC and ICC/IF. The predicted molecular weight is 17.3 kDa, and the supplier reports an observed band at about 17 kDa.
UBE2B (RAD6B) is a ubiquitin-conjugating (E2) enzyme. With the E3 ligases RNF20/RNF40 it monoubiquitinates histone H2B, an important mark for active transcription, and with RAD18 it monoubiquitinates PCNA to enable DNA damage tolerance. It is also needed for spermatogenesis.
