Product Overview
This rabbit polyclonal antibody targets E3 ubiquitin-protein ligase UHRF1 in human and mouse samples and is validated for Western blot, ICC/IF, flow cytometry and ELISA. The predicted molecular weight is 89.8 kDa, and the supplier reports an observed band at about 100 kDa.
UHRF1 is an epigenetic regulator and E3 ubiquitin ligase that is essential for maintaining DNA methylation through cell division. It binds hemimethylated DNA at replication forks and specific histone H3 marks, then ubiquitinates histone H3 to recruit DNMT1, which copies methylation onto the new strand. UHRF1 is studied in epigenetics, development and cancer.

Recommended loading (WB): 20–40 µg of total protein per lane.
Conditions in the example images (WB): 5–20% gradient SDS-PAGE under reducing conditions, 30 µg lysate per lane, transfer to nitrocellulose membrane, blocking in 5% non-fat milk, primary antibody at 0.5 µg/mL overnight at 4 °C, HRP-conjugated secondary antibody at 1:5000, ECL detection.
Samples with confirmed staining (ICC/IF): MCF-7 cells.
Samples with a confirmed signal (flow cytometry): RT4 cells.
Immunogen
Recombinant human UHRF1 fragment (Lys592–Arg793), expressed in E. coli.
Reactivity Notes
The supplier lists reactivity with human and mouse. UniProt places E3 ubiquitin-protein ligase UHRF1 in the nucleus and chromosome. Tissue expression noted by UniProt (human): Expressed in thymus, bone marrow, testis, lung and heart. The samples tested by the supplier (listed above) are a practical starting point for positive controls.
