Product Overview
This rabbit polyclonal antibody targets ubiquitin carboxyl-terminal hydrolase 1 (gene USP1) in human, mouse and monkey samples and is validated for Western blot, flow cytometry and ELISA. The predicted molecular weight is 88.2 kDa, and the supplier reports an observed band at about 110 kDa.
USP1 is a deubiquitinating enzyme that removes monoubiquitin from FANCD2 and from PCNA, two key signals in DNA repair. It needs its partner WDR48 (UAF1) for full activity. By switching off these signals, USP1 controls the Fanconi anemia pathway and translesion DNA synthesis, and it is studied as a target in DNA repair and cancer research.

Samples with a confirmed band (WB): human HepG2 cells, monkey COS-7 cells, mouse kidney tissue, mouse testis tissue.
Recommended loading (WB): 20–40 µg of total protein per lane.
Conditions in the example images (WB): 5–20% gradient SDS-PAGE under reducing conditions, 30 µg lysate per lane, transfer to nitrocellulose membrane, blocking in 5% non-fat milk, primary antibody at 0.5 µg/mL overnight at 4 °C, HRP-conjugated secondary antibody at 1:5000, ECL detection.
Samples with a confirmed signal (flow cytometry): SiHa cells.

Recombinant human USP1 fragment (Lys73–Tyr545), expressed in E. coli.
