Product Overview
Clone ADDG-21 is a rabbit monoclonal antibody that recognizes ubiquitin carboxyl-terminal hydrolase 13 (gene USP13) in human and mouse samples and is validated for Western blot, ICC/IF, immunoprecipitation and flow cytometry. The predicted molecular weight is 97.3 kDa, and the supplier reports an observed band at about 97 kDa.
USP13 is a deubiquitinating enzyme that stabilizes Beclin 1, a core autophagy protein, and thereby supports autophagy; it also acts on USP10, which in turn controls p53. USP13 has been linked to ER-associated degradation, cell-cycle progression and the DNA damage response, and is studied in autophagy and cancer.

Immunogen
Synthetic peptide based on the sequence of human USP13.
Reactivity Notes
The supplier lists reactivity with human and mouse. UniProt places ubiquitin carboxyl-terminal hydrolase 13 in the cytoplasm. Tissue expression noted by UniProt (human): Highly expressed in ovary and testes. The samples tested by the supplier (listed above) are a practical starting point for positive controls.
