Product Overview
Clone ADCG-21 is a rabbit monoclonal antibody that recognizes ubiquitin carboxyl-terminal hydrolase 22 (gene USP22) in human samples and is validated for Western blot, ICC/IF, immunoprecipitation and flow cytometry. The predicted molecular weight is 60.0 kDa, and the supplier reports an observed band at about 60 kDa.
USP22 is the deubiquitinating enzyme of the SAGA transcription coactivator complex, where it removes ubiquitin from histones H2A and H2B. It is recruited to target promoters by activators such as MYC and supports their transcription. USP22 is studied in gene regulation, cell-cycle progression and cancer.
