Product Overview
This rabbit polyclonal antibody recognizes vascular endothelial growth factor receptor 1 (gene FLT1) in human samples and is validated for Western blot. The predicted molecular weight is 150.8 kDa, and the supplier reports an observed band at about 151 kDa.
Vascular endothelial growth factor receptor 1 (VEGFR-1, FLT1) is a receptor tyrosine kinase that binds VEGF-A, VEGF-B and placental growth factor. Its kinase signaling is weak, and a soluble form acts largely as a decoy that limits VEGF availability. FLT1 is studied in angiogenesis, macrophage recruitment, preeclampsia and vascular development.
