Product Overview
Clone 22V90 is a rabbit monoclonal antibody that recognizes vacuolar protein sorting-associated protein 18 homolog (gene VPS18) in human, mouse and rat samples and is validated for Western blot, ICC/IF and flow cytometry. The predicted molecular weight is 110.2 kDa, and the supplier reports an observed band at about 100 kDa.
VPS18 is a core subunit of the HOPS and CORVET tethering complexes, which bring endosomal and lysosomal membranes together and help SNARE proteins fuse them. It supports delivery of endocytic and autophagic cargo to lysosomes and is studied in membrane trafficking.
