Product Overview
Clone 25V63 is a rabbit monoclonal antibody that recognizes vacuolar protein sorting-associated protein 28 homolog (gene VPS28) in human, mouse and rat samples and is validated for Western blot, IHC, ICC/IF and flow cytometry. The predicted molecular weight is 25.4 kDa, and the supplier reports an observed band at about 25 kDa.
VPS28 is a subunit of ESCRT-I, a complex that recognizes ubiquitinated membrane proteins on endosomes and helps sort them into multivesicular bodies for lysosomal degradation. ESCRT-I also takes part in virus budding and cytokinesis.
