Product Overview
This rabbit polyclonal antibody targets ribosome biogenesis protein WDR12 in human samples and is validated for Western blot, flow cytometry and ELISA. The predicted molecular weight is 47.7 kDa, and the supplier reports an observed band at about 48 kDa.
WDR12 is a WD repeat protein of the PeBoW complex, with pescadillo and BOP1. This complex is needed for processing of the 5.8S and 28S ribosomal RNAs and maturation of the 60S ribosomal subunit, so WDR12 is studied in ribosome biogenesis and cell growth.

Samples with a confirmed band (WB): human HeLa cells, human 293T cells, human Jurkat cells, human K562 cells.
Recommended loading (WB): 20–40 µg of total protein per lane.
Conditions in the example images (WB): 5–20% gradient SDS-PAGE under reducing conditions, 30 µg lysate per lane, transfer to nitrocellulose membrane, blocking in 5% non-fat milk, primary antibody at 0.5 µg/mL overnight at 4 °C, HRP-conjugated secondary antibody at 1:5000, ECL detection.
Samples with a confirmed signal (flow cytometry): HL-60 cells.

Recombinant human WDR12 fragment (Arg7–Asp396), expressed in E. coli.

The supplier lists reactivity with human. UniProt places ribosome biogenesis protein WDR12 in the nucleus. The samples tested by the supplier (listed above) are a practical starting point for positive controls.
