Product Overview
This rabbit polyclonal antibody recognizes pre-mRNA 3' end processing protein WDR33 in human samples and is validated for Western blot, flow cytometry and ELISA. The predicted molecular weight is 145.9 kDa, and the supplier reports an observed band at about 170–180 kDa.
WDR33 is a subunit of the cleavage and polyadenylation specificity factor (CPSF) complex. Together with CPSF30 it recognizes the AAUAAA polyadenylation signal in pre-mRNA, enabling cleavage and poly(A) tail addition at mRNA 3′ ends. WDR33 is studied in mRNA processing.

Samples with a confirmed band (WB): human HeLa cells, human 293T cells, human HepG2 cells.
Recommended loading (WB): 20–40 µg of total protein per lane.
Conditions in the example images (WB): 5–20% gradient SDS-PAGE under reducing conditions, 30 µg lysate per lane, transfer to nitrocellulose membrane, blocking in 5% non-fat milk, primary antibody at 0.5 µg/mL overnight at 4 °C, HRP-conjugated secondary antibody at 1:5000, ECL detection.
Samples with a confirmed signal (flow cytometry): 293T cells.

Recombinant human WDR33 fragment (Tyr88–Arg525), expressed in E. coli.
Reactivity Notes
The supplier lists reactivity with human. UniProt places pre-mRNA 3' end processing protein WDR33 in the nucleus. Tissue expression noted by UniProt (human): Most highly expressed in testis. The samples tested by the supplier (listed above) are a practical starting point for positive controls.
