Product Overview
Clone CAG-23 is a rabbit monoclonal antibody that recognizes protein Wnt-2 (gene WNT2) in human, mouse and rat samples and is validated for Western blot. The predicted molecular weight is 40.4 kDa, and the supplier reports an observed band at about 34 kDa.
Wnt-2 is a secreted Wnt ligand that signals through Frizzled receptors to activate the canonical β-catenin/TCF pathway. It acts upstream of FGF10 during embryonic lung development and has been implicated in the growth of midbrain dopaminergic precursors, so it is studied in organogenesis and tissue repair.

Samples with a confirmed band (WB): Jurkat cells, SKBR-3 cells.
Recommended loading (WB): 20–40 µg of total protein per lane.
Immunogen
Synthetic peptide based on the sequence of human WNT2.
Reactivity Notes
The supplier lists reactivity with human, mouse and rat. UniProt describes protein Wnt-2 as a secreted protein. Tissue expression noted by UniProt (human): Expressed in brain in the thalamus, in fetal and adult lung and in placenta. The samples tested by the supplier (listed above) are a practical starting point for positive controls.
