Product Overview
This rabbit polyclonal antibody detects protein Wnt-2b (gene WNT2B) in human, mouse and rat samples and is validated for Western blot and ELISA. The predicted molecular weight is 43.8 kDa, and the supplier reports an observed band at about 60 kDa.
Wnt-2b is a secreted Wnt ligand that binds Frizzled receptors and activates canonical β-catenin signaling. It works alongside Wnt-2 in embryonic lung specification and is also expressed in the intestine and eye, where it contributes to development and stem cell support.

Samples with a confirmed band (WB): human HEK293 cells, human HepG2 cells, human Jurkat cells, human A549 cells, human Raji cells, human SW620 cells, human SKOV3 cells, rat PC-12 cells, mouse Neuro-2a cells, mouse ANA-1 cells.
Recommended loading (WB): 20–40 µg of total protein per lane.
Conditions in the example images (WB): 5–20% gradient SDS-PAGE under reducing conditions, 50 µg lysate per lane, transfer to nitrocellulose membrane, blocking in 5% non-fat milk, primary antibody at 0.5 µg/mL overnight at 4 °C, HRP-conjugated secondary antibody at 1:5000, ECL detection.

Recombinant human Wnt2b fragment (Ala7–Thr391), expressed in E. coli.
Reactivity Notes
The supplier lists reactivity with human, mouse and rat. UniProt describes protein Wnt-2b as a secreted protein. Tissue expression noted by UniProt (human): Isoform 1 is expressed in adult heart, brain, placenta, lung, prostate, testis, ovary, small intestine and colon. The samples tested by the supplier (listed above) are a practical starting point for positive controls.
