Product Overview
Clone AEED-23 is a rabbit monoclonal antibody that recognizes protein Wnt-2b (gene WNT2B) in human, mouse and rat samples and is validated for Western blot, ICC/IF and flow cytometry. The predicted molecular weight is 43.8 kDa, and the supplier reports an observed band at about 44 kDa.
Wnt-2b is a secreted Wnt ligand that binds Frizzled receptors and activates canonical β-catenin signaling. It works alongside Wnt-2 in embryonic lung specification and is also expressed in the intestine and eye, where it contributes to development and stem cell support.

Samples with a confirmed band (WB): human HepG2 cells, human U2OS cells, rat testis tissue.
Recommended loading (WB): 20–40 µg of total protein per lane.
Conditions in the example images (WB): 10% SDS-PAGE under reducing conditions, 30 µg lysate per lane, transfer to nitrocellulose membrane, blocking in 5% non-fat milk, primary antibody at 1:500 overnight at 4 °C, HRP-conjugated secondary antibody at 1:5000, ECL detection.

Reactivity Notes
The supplier lists reactivity with human, mouse and rat. UniProt describes protein Wnt-2b as a secreted protein. Tissue expression noted by UniProt (human): Isoform 1 is expressed in adult heart, brain, placenta, lung, prostate, testis, ovary, small intestine and colon. The samples tested by the supplier (listed above) are a practical starting point for positive controls.
