Product Overview
This rabbit polyclonal antibody targets protein Wnt-5b (gene WNT5B) in human samples and is validated for Western blot, flow cytometry and ELISA. The predicted molecular weight is 40.3 kDa, and the supplier reports an observed band at about 45 kDa.
Wnt-5b is a secreted member of the Wnt family closely related to Wnt-5a and acts as a ligand for Frizzled receptors. It is thought to signal mainly through non-canonical pathways and has been linked to cartilage development, cell migration and adipogenesis, though it is less well characterized than Wnt-5a.

Samples with a confirmed band (WB): human HEK293 cells, human SW620 cells.
Recommended loading (WB): 20–40 µg of total protein per lane.
Conditions in the example images (WB): 5–20% gradient SDS-PAGE under reducing conditions, 50 µg lysate per lane, transfer to nitrocellulose membrane, blocking in 5% non-fat milk, primary antibody at 0.5 µg/mL overnight at 4 °C, HRP-conjugated secondary antibody at 1:10000, ECL detection.
Samples with a confirmed signal (flow cytometry): U87 cells.

Recombinant human Wnt5b fragment (Gln18–Lys218), expressed in E. coli.
