Product Overview
This rabbit polyclonal antibody targets protein Wnt-7b (gene WNT7B) in human samples and is validated for Western blot, flow cytometry and ELISA. The predicted molecular weight is 39.3 kDa, and the supplier reports an observed band at about 39 kDa.
Wnt-7b is a secreted Wnt ligand that activates canonical β-catenin signaling through Frizzled receptors. It is needed for chorion-allantois fusion during placental development and, together with Wnt-7a, for angiogenesis and blood-brain barrier formation in the central nervous system, and it also contributes to lung and kidney development.

Validated Applications
| Western blot | 0.25–0.5 µg/mL (Human) |
|---|---|
| Flow cytometry (fixed cells) | 1–3 µg/1×106 cells (Human) |
| ELISA | 0.1–0.5 µg/mL |
Samples with a confirmed band (WB): human HEK293 cells, human HeLa cells.
Recommended loading (WB): 20–40 µg of total protein per lane.
Conditions in the example images (WB): 5–20% gradient SDS-PAGE under reducing conditions, 50 µg lysate per lane, transfer to nitrocellulose membrane, blocking in 5% non-fat milk, primary antibody at 0.5 µg/mL overnight at 4 °C, HRP-conjugated secondary antibody at 1:5000, ECL detection.
Samples with a confirmed signal (flow cytometry): THP-1 cells.
Immunogen
Recombinant human WNT7B fragment (Lys220–Asp267), expressed in E. coli.
Reactivity Notes
The supplier lists reactivity with human. UniProt describes protein Wnt-7b as a secreted protein. Tissue expression noted by UniProt (human): Moderately expressed in fetal brain, weakly expressed in fetal lung and kidney, and faintly expressed in adult brain, lung and prostate. The samples tested by the supplier (listed above) are a practical starting point for positive controls.
