Product Overview
Clone 19B23 is a rabbit monoclonal antibody that recognizes tyrosine-protein kinase BAZ1B in human, mouse and rat samples and is validated for Western blot and flow cytometry. The predicted molecular weight is 170.9 kDa, and the supplier reports an observed band at about 185 kDa.
BAZ1B (also called WSTF) is a bromodomain protein that partners with the ISWI ATPase SMARCA5 in chromatin remodeling complexes. It also has atypical tyrosine kinase activity that phosphorylates histone H2AX at Tyr142 during the DNA damage response. BAZ1B is one of the genes deleted in Williams syndrome.
