Product Overview
This rabbit polyclonal antibody targets COMPASS component BRE2 in yeast samples.
In the budding yeast Saccharomyces cerevisiae, Bre2 is a subunit of COMPASS (Set1C), the complex that methylates histone H3 at lysine 4. Bre2 is needed for efficient di- and trimethylation of this residue, which marks actively transcribed genes and also affects telomeric silencing.
