Product Overview
This rabbit polyclonal antibody targets COMPASS component SWD3 in yeast samples.
In budding yeast (Saccharomyces cerevisiae), Swd3 is a WD40-repeat subunit of Set1C/COMPASS, which methylates histone H3 lysine 4. Swd3 is needed for H3K4 trimethylation and helps anchor and position the other subunits, making it a model protein for studies of histone methylation.
