Product Overview
This rabbit polyclonal antibody recognizes apolipophorins (gene 5572681) in Yellowfever mosquito samples.
In the yellow fever mosquito Aedes aegypti, apolipophorin (AaLp) is the main lipid-carrying lipoprotein of the hemolymph. It shuttles lipids between the fat body, gut, ovaries and other tissues, and it is studied in mosquito nutrition, egg development and interactions with pathogens.
