Product Overview
This rabbit polyclonal antibody recognizes 14-3-3 protein eta (gene YWHAH) in human, monkey, mouse and rat samples and is validated for Western blot, IHC, ICC/IF and flow cytometry.
14-3-3 η (YWHAH) belongs to the 14-3-3 family of dimeric adapter proteins that bind phosphorylated serine or threonine motifs. Through these interactions it modulates the activity and localization of many signaling and cell-cycle proteins, and it is abundant in the brain.

Conditions in the example images (IHC): heat-mediated antigen retrieval in EDTA buffer (pH 8.0).
Immunogen
Synthetic peptide from the C-terminal region of human YWHAH.
Reactivity Notes
The supplier lists reactivity with human, monkey, mouse and rat. Tissue expression noted by UniProt (human): Expressed mainly in the brain and present in other tissues albeit at lower levels.
