Product Overview
This rabbit polyclonal antibody targets si:ch211-12e1.4 protein (gene afg3l2) in zebrafish samples and is validated for Western blot.
AFG3L2 is the catalytic subunit of the m-AAA protease in the inner mitochondrial membrane. It combines ATPase and protease activities to unfold and degrade misfolded or damaged membrane proteins, maintaining mitochondrial protein quality, and it is important for neuronal and axonal development; mutations are linked to inherited ataxias.
