Product Overview
This rabbit polyclonal antibody recognizes tubulin alpha chain (gene tuba1a) in zebrafish samples and is validated for Western blot, IHC and ICC/IF.
Tubulin α-1A (TUBA1A) is an α-tubulin isotype that pairs with β-tubulin to build microtubules, the dynamic filaments of the cytoskeleton. It is abundant in the developing brain, where it supports neuronal migration and axon growth, and mutations cause lissencephaly and other cortical malformations.

Samples with a confirmed band (WB): zebrafish head tissue, zebrafish embryo tissue.
Recommended loading (WB): 20–40 µg of total protein per lane.
Samples with confirmed staining (IHC): zebrafish brain tissue, zebrafish spinal cord tissue.
Recommended antigen retrieval: heat-mediated, in TE buffer (pH 9.0); citrate buffer (pH 6.0) can be used instead.
Samples with confirmed staining (ICC/IF): zebrafish embryo tissue.

Recombinant zebrafish Alpha-tubulin/TUBA1A fragment (Met1–Gly436), expressed in E. coli.
Reactivity Notes
The supplier lists reactivity with zebrafish. UniProt places tubulin alpha chain in the cytoplasm. The samples tested by the supplier (listed above) are a practical starting point for positive controls.
