Product Overview
This rabbit polyclonal antibody detects actin-related protein 2-A (gene actr2a) in zebrafish samples and is validated for Western blot and IHC.
In zebrafish, actr2a encodes Arp2, a core subunit of the Arp2/3 complex. This complex nucleates branched actin filaments that drive membrane protrusion and cell movement, and zebrafish models use it to study cell migration and tissue morphogenesis.

Samples with a confirmed band (WB): zebrafish head tissue, female zebrafish viscera tissue, male zebrafish viscera tissue, whole zebrafish tissue, zebrafish embryo tissue.
Recommended loading (WB): 20–40 µg of total protein per lane.
Samples with confirmed staining (IHC): zebrafish brain tissue, zebrafish kidney tissue, zebrafish retina tissue, zebrafish skeletal muscle tissue.
Recommended antigen retrieval: heat-mediated, in TE buffer (pH 9.0); citrate buffer (pH 6.0) can be used instead.
Immunogen
Recombinant zebrafish ARP2/ACTR2 fragment (Met1–Arg394), expressed in E. coli.
Reactivity Notes
The supplier lists reactivity with zebrafish. UniProt places actin-related protein 2-A in the cytoplasm, cell projection and nucleus. The samples tested by the supplier (listed above) are a practical starting point for positive controls.
