Product Overview
This rabbit polyclonal antibody targets transcriptional activator Myb in zebrafish samples and is validated for Western blot.
c-Myb (MYB) is a transcription factor that binds specific DNA motifs and controls genes for proliferation and differentiation. It is essential for hematopoietic progenitor cells and is also expressed in colon epithelium and neural progenitors. MYB is deregulated in leukemias and some solid tumors, and zebrafish c-myb is a widely used hematopoietic stem cell marker.

Validated Applications
| Western blot | 0.25–0.5 µg/mL (Zebrafish) |
|---|
Samples with a confirmed band (WB): zebrafish head tissue.
Recommended loading (WB): 20–40 µg of total protein per lane.
Conditions in the example images (WB): 10% SDS-PAGE under reducing conditions, 30 µg lysate per lane, transfer to nitrocellulose membrane, blocking in 5% non-fat milk, primary antibody at 0.5 µg/mL overnight at 4 °C, HRP-conjugated secondary antibody at 1:5000, ECL detection.
Immunogen
Recombinant zebrafish c-Myb/MYB fragment (Met1–Ile590), expressed in E. coli.
Reactivity Notes
The supplier lists reactivity with zebrafish. UniProt places transcriptional activator Myb in the nucleus. The samples tested by the supplier (listed above) are a practical starting point for positive controls.
